Michael C. grew up in the small town of Schoeneck in Lancaster County. His love of music undoubtedly came from Mama C. “She would always have the radio on or be playing records”, he recalls. But the day that changed His life forever was his seventh birthday. He had the Chicken pox AND mumps at the same time. Being sympathetic, Mama & Papa C. asked what he wanted for his birthday. The answer: A RECORD PLAYER! And the rest is history. He would listen to his favorite stations growing up and try to mimic the DJs. After graduating from Cocalico High School, he went on to attend the Pennsylvania Broadcast Institute in Reading. That same year he landed his first job in radio. He’d go on to work at other stations, eventually WROZ 101.3, where he’s been a fixture since 1999. In addition to his passion for music, Michael C. loves traveling, roller coasters, the beach, hiking and biking, cooking, concerts, hockey and just hangin’ out with friends.
